Taken (2009)

Bryan Mills is a former CIA agent who has moved to Los Angeles in order to stay close to his spoiled 17 year old daughter called Kim, as she now lives with her mother and her stepfather Stuart.

After many talks with his ex-wife, Bryan finally agrees to let Kim go on a vacation to Paris with her best friend, Amanda. Nothing out of the ordinary so far….except that, when they get to Paris, the two girls fall in the hands of an Albanese human trafficking network, who plans on drugging them and selling them to some Arabs as deluxe prostitutes.

Kim’s father has only 96 hours to save them from this tragic situation, and uses all his CIA agent skills as well as an Albanese translator; he also gets the help of an agent of the French Secret Services called Jean Claude. In a race against time, Bryan Mills has to ruin the plans of those dangerous human traffickers and take justice into his own hands.
