The movie ’300′ is based on Frank Miller’s graphic novel. The action of the movie takes place in 480 BC, when the ambitious King Xerxes of Persia invades Greece with his huge army to extend his vast slave empire.

The Brave Kind Leonidas brings his small army of only 300 warriors to defend the passage of Thermopylae. This passage was the only way to reach Greece by land.

King Leonidas and his 300 brave warriors, with great battle skills, manage to defend Thermopylae until a disfigured Greek betrays Leonidas. He shows King Xerxes a secret goat passage that leads to the back of Leonida’s army.

At home, Leonida’s wife, Queen Gorgo of Sparta, tries to convince the council to send the Spartan army to fight against the Persians.
