Due to another failed experiment, an army of savage humans attack the city and there is nothing but chaos and barbarism everywhere.
Jason Bishop and other five survivors realize the fact that they have no chance whatsoever of leading a normal life and they seek refuge in a forest situated far away from the main roads.
Unfortunately, they start getting the feeling that they are not safe there either, as they find a dead man in one of the forest houses, or a dying man tied to a tree. When they meet Todd and his sister, who offer to take them to a safe place, away from the blood thirsty savages, Jason and the others feel more relaxed.
The only problem was Todd and his sister got killed by the savages and Jason’s group is in danger of sharing their faith.
Jason is twice as miserable; Amanda, one of the refugees, whom he was involved in a relationship with, was caught and killed. Jason feels lost again and is uncertain whether there will even be a tomorrow.
