Bronson (2009)

Bronson Poster

‘Bronson’ is the film that presents the life and evolution of Mickey Peterson, from when he was yet a relatively normal man to when he became an animal, the most notorious and dangerous prisoner that ever existed.

Initially, Bronson was sentenced to 7 years in jail for charges of armed robbery, but he ended up spending not only 7, but 34 years behind the bars; 30 of those years he spent them in a solitary cell, isolated from any other inmates, as he had become a life threat for the guards as well as for the other inmates.

Charles Bronson, as he used to be called like in prison, transformed himself into a very, very violent person during his confinement, taking hostages, protesting on the rooftops, showing the dark truth about the most dangerous character ever known by the British public.

Release Date: 27 February 2009

Genre: Action

Cast: Tom Hardy, Matt King, Amanda Burton, Hugh Ross,

Director: Nicolas Winding Refn
