One year after their breath-taking adventure in the fantastic realm of Narnia, the Prevensie siblings are taken away from England and transported back to Narnia.
Their initial happiness and joy of being back to Narnia turns into sorrow when they find out that more than 1300 years have passed since they left Narnia, and all their loved ones from there are probably dead. The realm itself is now in ruin under the rule of Telmarins who conquered it and their ruthless King Miraz.
The four children meet with a young man who proves to be the rightful heir to the throne, forced into hiding by his murderous uncle – King Miraz. With the help of several fantastic creatures (a dwarf, a mouse, a badger) the four siblings embark on a journey to find Aslan and reestablish peace and prosperity to Narnia.
