‘Daddy Day Camp’ is a sequel of the film released in 2003 (’Daddy Day Care’), in which Cuba Gooding Jr. plays the leading role instead of Eddie Murphy.
Charlie Hinton and Phil Ryerson have the idea of running a summer camp. Armed with total lack of knowledge of open spaces and natural environments, extremely damaged installations and a strange-looking group of campers, they will definitely not make it for a long time.
Faced with the danger of having to close it down, or with the ones of having all qualifications withdrawn, Charlie calls his father for help.
The more experienced man will help them set up properly the whole summer camp and thus they will show everybody the meaning of perseverance, team work and the power of forgiveness.
