“Jackpot” presents the story of Sunny Holiday, a man who thinks his success will come if he becomes a country-western singer.
For this success he abandons his beautiful wife, Bobbi, and their baby and starts a tour of nine months through some small western towns, along with his manager Lester “Les” Irving.
They head west to Jackpot, Nevada, singing in every possible place they can get money from.
To afford their current expenses they sell jugs of liquid soap out of the back of their car, most of the times to the ladies Sunny spends the night with after the shows.
Les tries to keep Sunny out of trouble, especially with the ladies… and when they think that they’re back on track… they are pulled over by the police…
