Jessie and Roy, a couple of Americans, return from their volunteering in China, and decide to take the Transsiberian Express train from Beijing to Moscow. Unfortunately, they meet another couple of travelers on the way who turn their life into nightmare.
Jessie is a woman with a turbulent past. She however settled for a normal and quiet life with Roy, but, sometimes, misses the thrill and adventure of her old past. When they meet Annie and Carlos she suspects something rather fishy about them. Annie is at least 10 years older than Carlos and the latter seems to have a more than friendly interest on Jessie.
When Roy is left behind accidentally at one train stop, Jessie realizes that Annie and Carlos are in fact drug smugglers and when another character, officer Grinko, comes into scene, she fears for the worst.
