As you surely guessed, the film is a sequel of the famous X-Men series.
It shows the adventures of the mutant with amazing regenerative powers, before he first met Professor Charles Xavier. Wolverine goes on the search of his own past and of the origins of his amazing powers, and tells us all about the complex relationship he had with Victor Creed and the omnipresent program Weapon X.
In his journey to the past he meets a lot of new mutants, but some of the legends of the X-Men universe will also make an appearance.
