A five year-old little girl, named Alexandria, who comes from a poor Romanian family, suffers an accident while she works with her mother on the field.
She breaks her arm and she has to stay in the hospital. There, she meets the young Roy Walker, a stuntman, who suffers deeply because the woman he loves prefers to have a romantic relationship with an actor.
Roy Walker is in the hospital because he ended paralyzed, trying to kill himself.
Alexandria and Roy become very good friends and they have a close relationship. Every day, Roy tells Alexandria a funny story to make her forget the pain. He also tries to determine her to steal morphine, in order to commit suicide.
