Marlin is a clownfish who has recently moved to live in a nice, quiet place of the ocean, near the Great Barrier Reef. But he will soon come to regret that when his wife and their eggs are eaten by a shark; only one egg has survived and that will be Nemo.
Nemo will live under his father’s strict supervision, but on his first day at school his curiosity drives him away from the rest of his class and
he gets picked up by a fishnet and carried away. His poor father decides to go looking for him, but it will be a very long and difficult journey. His only help will come from Dory, a blue tang fish that suffers from temporary memory losses, and will get them in many troubles.
In the meanwhile, Nemo ends up in the fish tank of a dentist, in Sydney where he plans to escape with the help of all the other fish in the tank.
The movie was produced by Pixar, and it has an intelligent and vivid script, a subtle yet accessible humour which makes it appealing to all categories of viewers.
