The first of this series is ‘Inkheart’, which tells the story of a young girl, Meggie, who discovers that

her father Mo possesses the power of bringing to life characters of literary fiction.

In order to stop the evil Capricorn, freed when she was reading the book ‘Inkheart’, Meggie will have to be helped by her father and Dustfinger, the hero who is also part of the book.

Funke wrote a trilogy on the matter, so if ‘Inkheart’ is a success, there will soon come a sequel.

23 January 2009

Genre:
Adventure, Family, Fantasy

Cast: Brendan Fraser (Mo ‘Silvertongue’ Folchart), Andy Serkis (Capricorn), Paul Bettany (Dustfinger), Eliza Bennett (Meggie)
