Life in small towns can be sometimes more than one can bear…..or much less than they would want to.
Davey Stone is a Jewish young man who lives in a little town called Dukesberry, in the New England County.He absolutely hates holidays and in the first day of Hanukkah he messes up so badly that he ends up in front of a judge for it.
The problem is that it is not the first time this has happened and the judge is determined to send the grumpy young man to jail, to teach him a lesson.
Luckily, an eccentric old man called Whitey asks the judge to give him the chance to transform Davey into an exemplary citizen.
