The Bank Job (2008)
The Bank Job (2008)

The Bank Job is a heist movie based on a true story. Jason Statham plays Terry, a London hustler who runs an auto shop and is buried deep in debt.

When his friend Martine comes with a proposition, he just can’t say no. Martine, who works as a model, is dating a secret agent who told her about a bank that will be without alarms for a while, as the old alarms had to be replaced. Her plan is to plunder the safe deposit boxes, knowing that people won’t press charges.

This theory is based on the fact that people will, most likely, want to maintain secrecy regarding the belongings that they stored in those safe boxes. After the heist, the gang of robbers realize that some things are better left not stolen as they came across various incriminating photos and documents. This unleashes a whirlwind of pursuits that build the suspense and action of any heist movie.

Release date: March 7th, 2008

Cast: Jason Statham,

Director: Roger Donaldson
