Tom Bailey is in love with his best friend, Claire. But Tom is afraid of commitment, so he refuses to accept what everyone else sees and considers obvious.

He needs to ask Claire to marry him before she finds another man who she wants to get married to.

When Colin, a rich Scottish, asks Claire to marry him, Tom has to witness the happy moment. He is Claire’s best friend and she tells him everything about what she feels for her fiance.

Claire chooses Tom to be her “made of honor”. Tom accepts, hoping that this way it will be easier for him to show Claire how much he loves her.
