“Keeping Up With the Steins” is a comedy about how you grow up … and how you survive through this process.
In Brentwood, Benjamin Fiedler is preparing to have his bar mitzvah.
The problem is that he doesn’t understand any meaning of such a ceremony, neither the Jewish religion he was born in, so the parents make the most generous and sumptuous party ever.
As Benjamin wants his father to leave him alone, the idea comes to call the grandfather that nobody wants to hear about.
Arrived in the family two weeks before the great event, the grandfather helps Benjamin get an idea about what truly means to become a man.
The humor is unleashed merciless in this touching comedy about growing-up, in which three generations collide in a crazy family reunion … then begin to realize that he, in fact, looks much better than they thought at first.
