Totally discouraged by the lack of any stability in her life, a Greek-American woman named Georgia decides to earn a living as a tour guide.

She takes on the complicated mission of accompanying a group of tourists in their journey all across Greece; they are American, Australian and Greek andnot at all interested in the local history and geography; instead, they prefer shopping for souvenirs at any time of day.

Given the different cultural background and personalities of the tourists, the conflicts never end and Georgia thinks that nothing is going according to the plan.

Fortunately for her, she meets Irv Gordon, who teaches her how to have fun, how to enjoy her life and how to rediscover her romantic side. Thus, she finds love with none other than the Greek driver of their bus.
