Peter Klaven is a successful real estate agent, elegant, romantic and serious; who just asked his dream woman named Zooey to marry him and is preparing for their wedding with her.

Just as Peter has never had a close enough friend that you propose to be groomsman at the wedding, this is the reason he accepts to go to a bizarre series of meetings with male strangers in an attempt to find the right person to whom delegate this important mission.

After several failed meetings with gay men who wrongly interpreted his intentions, Peter Klaven knows the eccentric and charming nonconformist Sydney Fife, to whom feels instantly attracted spiritual and begins spending increasingly more time.

For Peter despair, as the relationship of friendship with Sydney becomes tighter, the love relationship with Zooey seems to deteriorate, when he is put in the unwanted situation of choosing between his new friend and his fiancee.
