Callie Khouri, the Oscar winner for script of “Thelma and Louise”, directs her second movie, after the one in 2002, “Clan Ya-Ya”.
When Bridget Cardigan discovers that her husband lost his job, she decides to get a job as janitor in the Federal Reserve Bank.
There she’ll meet Nina, a single mother who makes juggleries to be able to raise her children, and who, fate’s irony, destroys the bank’s battered money.
One day, Bridget plans to rob a small quantity from the banknotes that had to be destroyed and convinces Nina and Jackie too, a free spirit hard-working young girl.
This movie is based on a real story of three women who decided to steal a part of the money that had to be destroyed in the bank they are employed.
