“Pineapple Express” is a black comedy which centers on the story of Dale Denton, a lazy drug addict who distributes subpoenas to people involved in trials, and his friend, Saul Silver who provides him with marijuana.

Coming to Saul’s place to buy his much desired cannabis cigarettes, Dale Denton finds out about the apparition of a new and very rare type of ‘pot’ called ‘pineapple express’ and he decides to try it.

While he is sitting in his car smoking one of those cigarettes, he witnesses a murder committed by a corrupted cop along with the most dangerous drug dealer in town.

While he was desperately trying to leave the scene without being noticed by the killers, he leaves the pineapple express cigarette behind; soon after, he realizes that it might just be the clue that will lead the killers right to him and Saul.

It is the beginning of a funny fight for survival against those who wish nothing than to find the fastest solution to kill them.
