Christopher “C-Dub” Wang’s life turns around when his parents and brother get injured in a car accident and he’s forced to take over his family business and become a ping-pong master to preserve his family legacy.
C-Dub is a pro-basketball wannabe Asian American who fails in realizing his lifelong dream but resolves in blaming genetics for his failure. He lives with his parents and in the shadow of his brother who is a doctor and a ping-pong champion.
With his parents and brother injured, C-Dub has to take over the family business and also win the National Golden Cock Tournament to keep the award in the family. At first he sees the whole thing as a big waste of time and energy but soon realizes that by winning the award he could earn his family’s respect for the first and also he could win the heart of the girl he’s in love with.
