New in Town
‘New in Town’ is a romantic comedy about a businesswoman, Lucy Hill, who is a career-driven person, who likes her lifestyle and is used to the life in Miami.
Lucy is sent to a small town from Minnesota to supervise a factory.
The local people receive Lucy with hostility and she has to get used to the very cold weather and the icy roads.
Eventually Lucy starts liking this small town and ends up being accepted by the community.
At work, Lucy is told to close the factory, which means a lot of people will remain after a stable job. Because of this, Lucy gets into a conflict with the leader of the workers, Ted Mitchell, that wants to keep the factory and the jobs of all the workers.
Lucy has to find a solution for saving the factory and the economy of the town.
