‘Angels and Demons’ is the screen version of a novel with the same name, written by Dan Brown, the author of the best seller ‘The Da Vinci Code’.
The action in this film takes place before the one in ‘The Da Vinci Code’ and will be directed by the same Ron Howard.
The drama will go back to its religious themes, and is centered in Vatican, where an ancient sect known as the Illuminati, has hidden
the most terrifying weapon ever created.
Again, the story begins with a body found in strange circumstances and Langdon (Tom Hanks), helped by an Italian scientist, will have to start solving mysteries in order to stop the disaster.
The main actor will be Tom Hanks again, but this time the main actress will be Ayelet Zurer (replacing Audrey Tatou) who will embody the sensual Vittoria Vetra; one of the other important roles will be played by Ewan McGregor, who will be Carlo Ventresca.
