Appaloosa
Set in 1882, in the old West of New Mexico, the film tells the store of a federal sheriff called Virgil Cole and of his partner and assistant Everett Hitch.
They have earned their reputation as peace bringers in the cities without law of the Wild West.
In the small mining community of Appaloosa, a powerful rancher called Randall Bragg has allowed his workers to have their way in town. After the sheriff of Appaloosa was brutally murdered, Cole and Hitch are hired to deliver his assassin to justice.
While they use their guns to set things in order in Appaloosa, the two policemen meet the provocative Allison French, who has just arrived in town and whose unconventional tactics threaten the peace they have installed there and also their life time friendship.
