The film is the screen version of the world best seller book by the same name written by American author Dan Brown.
It tells the story of the famous Professor Robert Langdon who is forced to enter the Louvre Museum one night, following the traces, clues and symbols which appeared after the death of a politician.
With his own life at risk, and with the help of the beautiful Police cryptologist Sophie Neveu, Langdon discovers a series of terrifying secrets in the work of Leonardo Da Vinci.
All those secrets point to the existance of a secret society in charge of safekeeping a great secret that has been kept hidden for two thousand years.
Their investigation takes them to Paris, London, and Scotland in their search for the code that will reveal fundamental secrets of humanity.
