Nancy Drew is a character created by the writer Carolyn Keene. The movie ‘Nancy Drew’ continues the series of adventures of the teenager and her father, who go to live in Los Angeles for a while. Nancy’s father got a new job there.

Although her father encourages her to focus on studying and be a normal teenager, Nancy cannot adapt and, once again, she tries to solve a mystery.

The rented house in which Nancy chose to live during her stay in L.A., belonged to a cinema star from the 80s, named Dehlia Draycott, who was killed under suspicious conditions. Dehlia Draycott’s will was modified shortly before her death and later, disappeared.

Nancy discovers that Dehlia Draycott’s fortune should belong to her only daughter, Jane Brighton. Nobody knew about Jane until now, when she appears and she also finds the missing will.

As trying to solve the mystery, Nancy finds herself in danger. Somebody has all the reasons to want her dead.. Who might that be?
