Two million dollars is a large sum, no matter the decade; that’s what Llewlyn Moss (Josh Brolin) also thought when he saw the abandoned truck with a load of heroine and two million dollars in it.
He ignored that it was surrounded by corpses, took the money ad left. Chasing him were his newly found enemies: the psychopath Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem) and Sheriff Bell (Tommy Lee Jones).
Based on the novel with the same name, written by Cormac McCarthy, the film is a terrifying thriller directed by Ethan and Joel Coen. It has received two Golden Globes and 8 Oscar nominations for best film, best director, best script, best supporting actor (Javier Bardem), etc.
It is a movie about violence, temptation, survival, sacrifice, love and hope, filmed in the American West, so as to make the spectator remember that blood-spilling culture. The cast includes several other well-known actors, such as Tess Harper (as Loretta Bell), Kelly McDonald (as Carla Jean) and Garett Dillahunt (as Wendell).
