Amexicano (2007)
Amexicano

Amexicano

This is an interesting movie which presents the friendship between an Italian-American, who thinks that English should be the only language accepted in the country, and a Mexican illegal immigrant, a competent and hard-working young man, who speaks little English.

An overweight average man, lazy, out of work and late with his rent, named Bruno (Carmine Famiglietti), is offered an off-the-books construction job by his friend Alex (Michael Aronov).

At first he is hesitant because he had to hire undocumented helpers from a corner of Northern Boulevard.

He is not feeling safe after hiring the first Hispanic worker, Diego (Manny Perez), a hustler who talks fast.

His attitude about the other nations changes after he hires Ignacio (Raúl Castillo) and meets his wife Gabriela (Jennifer Peña), who welcomes Bruno in their life.

Soon the two are teaching each other their languages, sharing lunches and becoming best friends.

Do not hesitate in watching this movie!
