‘Little Ashes’ is a United Kingdom-Spain co-production, set on the background of the city of Madrid in the 1920s.
It explores the great friendship that existed amongst three important figures of Spanish and international culture: Dali, Lorca and film maker Luis Buñuel; it talks about their friendship and about their loves, shared or not…
We can see the three young men of genius in the time they all lived in the Students Residence in Madrid and it is here where the supposed romance between Lorca and Dali took place; all the rumors and book subjects were born on accounts of what happened in that place.
In the role of Salvador Dali we see Robert Pattinson, in that of Luis Buñuel, Matthew McNulty and Javier Beltran plays Federico Garcia Lorca.
