August Evening

What happens when you get fired, your wife suddenly dies and leaves you with three children, and you also lose your home?

What can you do when you’re not as young as you once were and you live in a country which is not on the ‘most peaceful’ list?

There is no time to think too much; you have to decide on the spot…where to go, what to do?

That is, in few words, the story of a Mexican family living in Southern Texas; they are struggling to live, to get passed the day and maintain the hope of a better tomorrow.

The director decided to show a real private story, without any forced drama elements. He puts aside the immigration problems his protagonists have and focuses on their emotions and goals.

Release Date: 05 September 2008

Genre: Drama

Cast: Pedro Castaneda, Veronica Loren, Abel Becerra, Walter Perez, Sandra Rios, Raquel Gavia, Cesar Flores, Grisel Rodríguez

Director: Chris Eska
