The action of the movie ‘Cache’ aka ‘Hidden’ takes place in Paris. Here, Georges Laurent is the host of a literary talk-show on TV. Georges lives with his wife, Anne and his teenager son, Pierrot.

Georges and Anne start receiving packages containing videotapes with their family, shot secretly from the street. Next to the tapes, they find some drawings whose meaning is obscure.

Georges goes to the police because he’s worried for the safety of his family, but they don’t get any protection since there is not a clear menace to the Laurent family.

Gradually the footage on the tapes becomes more personal, showing Georges’ childhood home. Georges meets with his former adopted brother, the Algerian Majid, and accuses him of sending the tapes.
