‘Under The Same Moon’ tells the parallel stories of a nine year old boy and his mother.

Rosario wants to give her son Carlitos a better life than the one she had. She thinks she can do that by working illegally in the United States while her mother is still in Mexico, taking care of the boy.

Unexpected circumstances make both Carlitos and Rosario get involved in all kinds of tricky situations, in a desperate attempt to get together.

On the way, there are moments in which they think they might not make it, but they manage to keep hoping that they will be together.
