The movie ‘The Queen’ present aspects of the life of Queen Elizabeth II.
The film starts with the terrible news of Princess Diana’s death, one of the most loved women in the world.
While the British people grief over the loss of their favorite Princess, Queen Elizabeth II withdraws at the Balmoral Castle, together with her family. She is incapable of understanding the public’s reaction, of grief and despair, caused by Diana’s death.
Tony Blair, the new and popular Prime-Minister, understands the people’s need of safety and support in order to overcome this tragedy.
As the Queen gets more and more distant to the British, Tony Blair finds a way of reuniting the Queen with her people.
