The Quiet

After her father dies in a tragic car accident, the teenager Dot, who pretends to be deaf and mute, goes to live in her godfathers’ house. Her godfathers are Paul and Olivia Deer and they have a daughter named Nina.

Very soon, Dot finds out that her new home hides a terrible secret, that involves Nina and her father Paul. Olivia, who knows about the incest taking place in her own house, burries herself in medicins, in order not to confront with this delicate problem.

At the beginning, the two teenagers seem totally different from each other. In time, they realize that they have many things in common and they start to trust each other and share their deepest secrets.

Thus, Nina tells Dot that she plans to kill her father, but before that she wants to obtain money from him for leaving the house. She lies to her father that she’s pregnant and needs money for an abortion. Her father finds out the truth and get mas at her and tries to rape her again. Dot rescues her friend from the hands of her father.
