Radio (2003)
In “Radio” the action takes place in the sixties, in a small town in Carolina.
Harry Jones coaches the local high school team and he is very committed to his job; so committed that he doesn’t have enough time to spend with his little girl, Mary Helen, or with his wife, Linda.
He meets Radio, a student with severe mental problems and takes him as his help in coaching the team.
People are not sure whether Radio can make it or not, or if he can help the tea in any way; but he decides not to give up and he will remain with the high school team for a long period of thirty years.
It is a dramatic store based on real facts and it means to show that all it takes is good will and respect for other human beings in order to help those less fortunate lead a normal life.
