‘Sangre de mi Sangre’ is an original and challenging drama about destiny and stolen identity.
The movie tells the story of two teenagers – Pedro and Juan – who meet by chance for a short period of time, in a truck that transports illegally immigrants from Mexico to the United States of America.
Pedro is a 17 year-old honest boy, who travels to New York, in order to find his father, Diego, who is supposed to own a restaurant there.
On the way there, he befriends Juan and tells him all his secrets, showing him a letter that his deceased mother gave him. He has to give the letter to his father, when he meets him.
When Pedro wakes up, he finds his luggage and his new friend Juan, missing. He feels lonely and lost in a huge city that he doesn’t know and in a country whose language he doesn’t speak fluently. Here, he meets Magda, a prostitute who speaks his language and who can help him to find his father.
