“The Last House on the Left” is a remake after a 1972 film directed by Wes Craven.
The film tells the story of two young girls, Mari and Paige, who were apparently headed to town to see a concert.
They somehow end up in a house situated on the bank of a lake, where they are taken prisoners by a band of runaway convicts.
Thinking they have killed Mari, Paige leaves her friend behind and runs to the house of John and Emma, Mari’s parents, the only place she thought would be safe.
Ironically, the kidnappers also seek refuge in that house, seeing it as safe. When the girl tells them all about the horrors they have gone through, the parents will make sure the kidnappers will deeply regret everything they did.
