Mum and dad (2008)
Mum and dad

Mum and dad

‘Mum’ and ‘Dad’ have two adopted children, called Birdie and Elbie; so far, nothing special, one might think.

The thing is all the four members of the family work at the airport; they live of the things they can find amongst the merchandise people forgot and from what they sometimes receive from the workers who populate the airport.

When Lena, a young and naive Polish girl, becomes friends with Birdie, she is unknowingly drawn into a world of nightmares, torture, horrible crimes and perversity.

She is drawn into the family’s suburbs house of horrors, she has only two options: she can join their madness and be ‘Mum’s little girl’ or she can die trying to ecape.

The film is partially inspired from the true story of serial killers Fred and Rosemary West.
