Hastings Supermarket, a small town grocery store, becomes the scene of a horrific event as a heavily armed group barges in, kills some people on the spot and takes everyone else hostage.
All the people in the store are terrified believing that they are being held hostages by a gang of criminals or even worse, terrorist but they eventually find out that in fact the armed robbers are a group of scientists tracking down a very powerful alien, capable of destroying all creatures on Earth.
The scientists want to find and destroy the alien at any costs. One of the scientists uses a scanner to find the alien which is using a human as a host but things get even more complicated when a police officer tries to save the day but instead manages to destroy any chance of finding the alien. Now the scientists have to kill everybody in that supermarket to kill the alien.
